Getting older (or "more mature") is no reason to close the door on new and fun experiences; here's an invitation to try something out of your comfort zone.
If you've found yourself recently saying or thinking things like "I can't do this" or "maybe if I was younger" then its time to shake things up with an Aerial Yoga class designed for you!
This special beginner workshop is for people who are new to aerial yoga, but have yet to try because they thought they were "too old" or "not strong enough".
In a supportive and judgement-free environment, you learn the basics of aerial yoga and build the strength, coordination and confidence to experience how liberating (and fun) aerial yoga can be.
This is an opportunity to conquer the fear of trying something new, and feel young and strong, while not taking yourself too seriously.
Instructor Sharon Prybyla will take time with each individual student to help achieve their goal, whether its is to learn to sit in the silk or hang upside down like a monkey!
You are welcome to keep your feet on the ground the whole time or take an opportunity to come into a full inversion! Either way, the session will help you feel more empowered through the act of trying something out of your comfort zone.
The session will end in a restful, floating Savasana (think peacefully laying in a hammock) and you'll leave carrying the confidence you gained from this practice into your everyday life.
All you need is an open mind and a fun spirit!
